Check out some of my work! These have allowed me to develop new skills, practice all sorts of writing, and continue to discover my passions.

Holidays at the Hangar Press Release
Allen Hall Public Relations (AHPR)
One of my first tasks upon joining AHPR was to write a press release for our client, the Evergreen & Aviation Museum in McMinnville, OR promoting their Holidays at the Hangar event. Read the press release here.

Disrupting the opioid crisis through prevention
Strategic Science Communication
I had the opportunity to write about the ongoing prevention science research at the Center of Parenting and Opioids at the University of Oregon. This story, along with many others in my strategic science communication class, has been published on the Office of the Vice President of Research and Innovation website. You can read the story here.

Graphic Design and Content Creation
Cascadia Region Earthquake Science Center (CRESCENT)
In my internship at CRESCENT, I created graphics and other forms of content for the website and socials. It’s imperative to communicate the complicated science behind earthquakes, as well as the structure of the research organization. I created the above graphic for a poster presentation at a conference. Check out their website here to see more of my graphics and content.

Maintaining Relationships and Securing Funding
Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA)
Among many other responsibilities as finance director for PRSSA, I maintain a positive relationship with ASUO. This allows me to secure funding for the club’s endeavors. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve attended ASUO Senate to request funding, but I’m proud of this presentation that secured $8,000 for a trip to Seattle. Check out the slides here.

Media Communications Brief
